The trail begins just outside Olmo al Brembo village on the main road leading to Averara. Park place in Olmo al Brembo near the crossroad of the road leading to Cusio. Cross the bridge of the main road, turn left near the church of San Rocco and follow Portici Street, overlooking the right bank of the Brembo River, in the western part of the village. At a crossroad, keep to the right and take the path running along the left bank of Acquanera creek.  At the next bridge, keep the right without crossing it. Here the path leads to main road again. Follow it for short stretch to the crossroad with 105B path (signpost). Along the path you will find many remains of a past life ancient rural buildings. After 5 minutes’ walk on the path you will meet a first group of houses named Baite Roncale (huts) of which one, "La Stala"(the Stable), has been finely restored.
The path follows with moderate slope and good signing when you cross smaller tracks.
After about 30 minutes’ walk you pass through an interesting arch-shaped rock formation (Rock or Büsa of the Pizzarèla). Beyond the arch, on the opposite side, leaning against the rock there is a large hut taking its name from the place (Baita della Pizzarèla). From here, after further 30 minutes’ walk you get Ronchi hamlet where there is another well-restored hut (Runchel). Then you get Lavaggio, a group of houses some of which are now ruins. With a short detour to the left, climbing on a stairway, you reach the small church of San Rocco on a knoll in dominant position. Returning to the path, now a dirt road, you reach quickly Valle (small hamlet of Averara) and Redivo where the route ends. Here you can see Bottagisi House wrongly considered by all a Venetian Customs building. Luigi Angelini (architect) wrote of it: "beautiful example of rustic architecture with stone arches on the ground floor, arched windows on the upper floors and external wooden staircases zigzagging from the ground to the top floor symmetrically to the axis". In Redivo there is also the church of San Pantaleone with a bell tower with mullioned windows built in 1400.
