Acquistare prima di parcheggiare il biglietto per la sosta ed esporlo sul cruscotto. Dopo aver raggiunto il parcheggio di Capanna 2000 Arera, ci apprestiamo a iniziare il percorso. Ci incamminiamo sul primo tratto sassoso, della pista che ci condurrà al Rifugio Capanna 2000. Proseguiamo la salita su un fondo di sassi annegati nel cemento e superiamo i cartelli della pista. Il fondo cambia e la pendenza ora non scherza, incontriamo un salto del percorso. Tutto prosegue su fondo compatto con sassi che affiorano dal cemento. Nuovamente fondo cementato con pietre annegate nello stesso. Raggiungiamo una curva verso sinistra, la deviazione sulla destra porterà verso la Baita Zuccone. Superiamo il palo segnaletico e ci incamminiamo su un sentiero abbastanza largo. Il fondo cambia continuamente, ora sono piccoli sassi e terra compatta. Proseguiamo in leggera discesa sul sentiero, con un panorama molto bello davanti a noi. Ora il percorso sale leggermente con il fondo che non cambia. Alla nostra sinistra un segnale del CAI, dipinto su una roccia, ci indica che la direzione è corretta. Siamo arrivati alla Baita Zuccone (1802 m.), qui termina il percorso per le Joelette. Proseguiamo il cammino in discesa, lungo il sentiero di montagna (Sentiero CAI 237). Ci stiamo spostando lungo le pendici del Monte Arera ed alla nostra destra c’è la Val Parina. Superiamo un guado alla nostra sinistra, con una piccola fontanella d’acqua. Raggiungiamo un tratto di terreno argilloso e nel contempo friabile, che superiamo agevolmente. Ci accingiamo a superare un secondo guado, su un piccolo ruscello. La segnaletica alla nostra sinistra ci conferma che siamo sul percorso corretto. Proseguiamo su un tratto su prato che ci facilita il cammino. Raggiungiamo un nuovo guado che superiamo agevolmente e proseguiamo la salita. Siamo arrivati ad un bivio e svoltiamo a sinistra, seguendo le indicazioni su una pietra. Il palo segnaletico ci fornisce le informazioni per raggiungere la nostra meta. Di fronte a noi vediamo la sella che dobbiamo raggiungere. Volgendo lo sguardo all’indietro, ammiriamo la maestosità del monte Arera. Abbiamo raggiunto il piano della Baita Camplano, con il suo abbeveratoio. L’erba è alta, ma riusciamo a raggiungere l’ingresso della baita. Alla nostra sinistra svetta lo Zucco degli Agnelli. Un palo segnaletico ci fornisce le informazioni per raggiungere altre mete. In lontananza, alla destra della parte posteriore della baita Camplano, ammiriamo il monte Grem. Dopo un meritato riposo, riprendiamo il cammino verso il punto da cui siamo partiti, tra i prati pieni di “Botton d’oro”. Alla nostra sinistra, in discesa ammiriamo la valle Serina e il Monte Alben.

Purchase your parking ticket before parking and display it on the dashboard. After reaching the Capanna 2000 Arera parking lot, we’re ready to begin the hike. We set off on the first rocky section of the trail that will lead us to the Capanna 2000 Mountain Hut. We continue the ascent on a surface of stones embedded in concrete and pass the trail signs. The terrain changes and the slope is now quite steep; we encounter a drop in the trail. The path continues on a compact surface with stones protruding from the concrete. Once again, the surface is concrete with stones embedded in it. We reach a left-hand curve; the detour to the right leads to the Baita Zuccone. We pass the signpost and set off along a fairly wide trail. The terrain changes constantly; now it’s small stones and compact soil. We continue slightly downhill along the trail, with a beautiful view stretching out before us. Now the path climbs slightly, though the terrain remains the same. To our left, a CAI marker painted on a rock confirms we’re heading in the right direction. We have arrived at Baita Zuccone (1,802 m); this is where the Joelette route ends. We continue our descent along the mountain trail (CAI Trail 237). We are moving along the slopes of Monte Arera, and to our right lies Val Parina. We cross a ford on our left, where there is a small water fountain. We reach a stretch of clayey yet crumbly ground, which we cross easily. We are about to cross a second ford over a small stream. The signage on our left confirms that we are on the correct path. We continue along a stretch of meadow that makes the going easier. We reach another ford, which we cross with ease, and continue our ascent. We’ve arrived at a fork in the trail and turn left, following the markings on a rock. The signpost provides us with directions to our destination. Ahead of us, we can see the saddle we need to reach. Looking back, we admire the majesty of Mount Arera. We have reached the plateau of the Camplano Hut, with its watering trough. The grass is tall, but we manage to reach the hut’s entrance. To our left rises the Zucco degli Agnelli. A signpost provides information on how to reach other destinations. In the distance, to the right of the rear of the Camplano hut, we admire Mount Grem. After a well-deserved rest, we resume our walk back toward our starting point, through meadows full of buttercups. To our left, as we descend, we admire the Serina Valley and Mount Alben.
