Sentiero 104: Valtorta (Costa) - Rifugio Grassi

Starting from Costa (1113 m) - a little hamlet above Valtorta - climb towards the Grobbia Valley along the right side (left hydrographic side). After about 10 minutes cross the valley and climb to hairpin bends on the other side. At an altitude of 1336 m you get to the watershed between Grobbia valley and “del Borae” valley. Rise the valley - first through the woods - and finally reach the meadows near Lavez hut (1508 m), Cavallero hut (1747 m) and Caserone hut (1859). Continuing west you cross the head of Foppabona valley until to reach the Grassi Hut (1987 m).
