Sentiero 202: Foppolo - Passo di Dordona

The path starts from Foppolo at the end of Rovera Street, continuation of Cortivo Street (by car, follow the directions to Hotel des Alpes and go on climbing Cortivo Street - parking place, at 1650 m). After few meters turn left and start climbing the valley on the right orographic side, reaching the plain of the Cornellini hut, at about 1800 m. Cross the creek on a wooden bridge and climb the steep opposite slope, finally reaching the wide grazing area of Dordona Pass (2061 m) Beautiful sight of the underlying Valmadre and the Mount Disgrazia. Just over the pass, the Valmadre small road takes in less than 30 minutes to the visible Rifugio Dordona (Hut) (1930 m - open in summer).
