The track follows the ancient mule track connecting Branzi village to Valleve village and the alpine pastures of Foppolo and San Simone. In Branzi, leave your car in the wide public parking place next to “Carabinieri” barracks. Walk downstream the valley for about 50 m, to the signpost on the right for 117A path. The path climbs among the houses and then on the old mule track for about 1 km, reaching the forest road recently built overlapping the old path). Turn right along the dirt road, pass by the beautiful Prati hamlet and reach the117 path (leading to Monte Colle and Forcolino di Torcola -see description)
Going straight on the dirt road, you get the church of Valleve village in 20 minutes’ walk.

The path is viable throughout the year and, in the presence of snow, is an excellent track to use of snowshoes.
