The Hut (altitude: 1968 m) is located on the banks of the famous Gemelli lakes, which have a storage capacity of over 5,000,000 cubic meters of water. The area is known as "plateau of lakes" for the presence of a dozen artificial lakes within a short distance between one another.
The most significant mountain in the area is definitely “Pizzo del Becco” peak (2507 m), which dominates the landscape by its steep southern cliffs and the even wildest northern walls. On both its sides, several climbing itineraries have been traced on excellent rock (Lombard verrucano).
Laghi Gemelli Hut offers hikers a bar, restaurant and overnight stay in a youthful environment, where you will find a warm welcome, a traditional cuisine and excellent local wines.
