Descrizione
Starting point: ENEL power station in Valgoglio (Centrale di Aviasco - 960 m - at the end of the road coming from Valgoglio, free and toll parking area). Climb along the creek, heading northwest, for about 10 minutes, turn left, ford the creek at height 1044 m, then head southward in a dense forest and enter the Sanguigno Valley. Follow climbing on the path (with some hairpin turns and passing near some waterfalls) you get near Rifugio Gianpace (private Hut with food service,1331 m). Following the path at 1410 m, you cross the 265 path leading to Valcanale and the 267path going to Rifugio Capanna Lago Nero. Remaining on the left orographic side of the valley, follow climbing and reach Vecchie huts (1418 m), Bindagola hut (1701 m) and Presponte hut (2097 m). Last climb brings you to West Valsanguigno Pass (also called Farno Pass 2306 m). From here, go downhill to the lake and then follow the left shore reaching Rifugio Laghi Gemelli (1961 m).
