Sentiero 418: Piani di Rena (Schilpario) - Passo di Valzellazzo

From Schilpario take the paved road leading to Vivione pass. Park the car at Cimalbosco locality (1550 m- red hut and Rifugio Bagozza) and walk to the right on the forest road heading the Campelli pass (signposts). After about 500 m, beyond a bridge, turn right on 428 path. Follow it for about 20 minutes on some ups and downs to the crossroad on the left with the path 418 (at about 1580 m altitude). Climb up with hairpin bends in the alder forest; going on, you get a strip with mountain pines and rhododendrons and then the scree leading to the pass (2016 m). Near Valzellazzo pass there is a new bivouac, opened in October 2017, dedicated to Don Giulio Corini.
