The route runs in the woods on a comfortable path which, mainly stays at 1000 m of altitude and connects some of the main villages of the Upper Brembana Valley. The starting point is at Colle Maddalena (1260 m, in the municipality of Cusio). Park your car on a widening of the road that leads to Spiazzi of Avaro Mount. Take a small path downhill passing through the “Taec” meadows and reach the little St. Albert Church (1060 m), where you can admire the bell tower built in 14th century. The route is dotted with well-restored huts, used, in some cases, as pasture to breed cattle. Going on the comfortable shaded path, always in beautiful woods of hornbeam and spruce trees, reach Upper Capriva hamlet (980 m). Cross the small village, cross of the Vai creek on the bridge and, slightly downhill, reach Losc place (940 m). Here there is the crossroad with 110 path, follow downhill on a mule track along Valmora valley to Lower Capriva hamlet (840 m) and then, on a paved road, to Averara village (660 m). Cross Mora creek on the bridge and keep the left passing through the streets of the village and then take the path, slightly uphill, in the direction of Guei valley (770 m).
