Sentiero 224: Lago del Prato - Rifugio Longo

Starting from Carona, go along the first stretch of the path n° 210 until you arrive to the little lake “del Prato” (1654 m). From here, turn left before the bridge and follow the path n° 224 - gaining altitude - first with some bends and then along the hillside path, up to the Monte Sasso valley and Fratelli Longo Hut (2026 m). Before reaching the shelter, on your left (at an altitude of 1920 m), you meet the path n° 254 leading to the Venina Pass.
